When a 12-year-old boy adopts the powerful beagle, the two form a unique bond shared by the knowledge that Shoeshine is the talkative superhero UNDERDOG.

Armed with a fetching superhero costume and the unmistakable voice of televisions, Earl Hickey, UNDERDOG vows to protect the beleagured citizens of Capitol City, and in particular, one cute little spaniel by the name of Polly Purebred.

When a sinister plot by Barsinister and his overgrown henchman Cad threatens to destroy Capitol City, only UNDERDOG can save the day.

Played by a real life hound, and with the help of brilliant CGI technology enhancements, Shoeshine bursts onto the screen as the unlikely superhero UNDERDOG.
