Beaudesert Annual Bird Sale is held on the second Sunday in November every year. This event has over seventy bird vendors selling native and exotic parrots, finches, softbills, doves, quail, cockatiels, budgerigars, lories, lorikeets, cockatoos, conures, quakers, princess, scarlet-chested, caiques, alexandrines, red-rumps, and many more! Tables available to all bird owners and breeders to sell their birds - $15 per table. All avicultural equipment and supplies for the birdkeeper will be on display and for sale. Trade stand spaces /tables available for commercial enterprises to sell their products at this sale - $20 each. The venue is modern, clean, and spacious with food and drinks available throughout the day, and wheelchair access. There is unlimited free parking on the street and in the venue grounds. Monthly meetings can feature guest speakers, DVD screenings, and discussions on birdkeeping. The BPFA has an extensive collection of DVDs, books and magazines on all aspects of aviculture (birdkeeping) for loan to financial members. Available at our monthly meetings, on a monthly basis. The BPFA has a huge range of birdkeeping supplies for sale to members, at the lowest possible prices, and to the public at the Jimboomba and Beaudesert weekend markets. |
