Pug Rescue Victoria is a non-profit, registered organisation, committed to helping all pugs in need. It is run solely by a dedicated veterinary nurse who volunteers her time and bed to care for these precious pugs. The rescue would also not be complete without the help of a handful of wonderful foster carers. These foster carers take in our rescue pugs and look after them as one of the family until they are placed into their new home. We are always looking to expand our foster care program, so if you think you would be able to foster one of our pugs on a temporary basis, please contact us. Our mission is to find abandoned and surrendered pugs, new permanent loving homes. Pugs that arrive in rescue that are sick or injured are rehabilitated before being placed in a new home. Strictly all pugs are: vet checked, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, de-flead and heartworm tested before leaving the rescue. |
